We ended our first week of school with our first Town Hall meeting! Our Pirates were such awesome participants! They cheered on each other, followed school expectations, and had fun! What a blessing it is to be a Parsons Pirate!

Here is the School Supply List again. You are welcome to bring school supplies to Open House so students do not have such a heavy backpack the first day! You do not need to purchase everything on the list. Any supplies are appreciated, especially Kleenex and wipes! If you are in need of school supplies or a backpack for your child, please reach out to Mrs. Aherne.

Our first Mini Marauderthon was a huge success. Run Club had a wonderful culminating event. Thank you to Mrs. Scheetz and Mr Ziemba for leading Run Club this year!

Parsons was in the spotlight at the Board of Education meeting on Thursday night! Our kindergarteners did an awesome job leading everyone in the pledge. They were so excited and proud! Kristyl Bannon was spotlighted due to the hard work she has done this year to create a Young 5s classroom. She does an amazing job with our youngest learners and we appreciate her!
Parsons Drama Club did such an amazing job on Kid Frankenstein! Our actors worked so hard and all of their hard work paid off. A big thank you to Sarah Morgan and Casey Linge for leading Drama Club this year!
Swim Night was a success! Thanks to PTO for planning the event and CHS for use of the pool!

Today was the first ever GSD Student Council Summit. Ten students from each elementary school, middle school, and the high school student council met with Mr. Pehote, Mrs. Schultz, and Mrs Conway to share leadership ideas for the district. Ten Parsons students, grades 3-5, were selected from our Lighthouse Team to represent Parsons. They did an amazing job!
