The Gibraltar Middle College (GSDMC) is a 5 year program of study where students earn up to 60 college credits and one of the following: an associate degree, a professional certification, a MEMCA certificate, or an apprenticeship. Students in the program commit to a 5th year of high school in order to finish the associate degree and earn their high school diploma. This 5th year will consist of mostly, if not all, college courses at the college. The courses are funded by the school district, through the Post Secondary Dual Enrollment Act, which means a minimal cost to families for such things as basic materials for the classes, parking, etc. You can also access the Frequently Asked Questions, which will answer the most common questions. Please visit the following page for more information on eligibility and how to apply; Eligibility and Application Process.
This is available to current eligible 10th graders, to begin in the fall . The GSDMC Family Information Night will take place this coming winter.
